Quality, certification and compliance

ISOKLAMP CFR is manufactured under an ISO 9001:2015 certified quality management system, supplied with EN 10204 3.1 inspection certification and full lot traceability, and carries CE and UKCA marking for specification in European and United Kingdom projects. Performance testing is carried out or witnessed by independent accredited third parties working to ISO/IEC 17025. More than 5 million pieces have been supplied over the last 15 years across industrial machinery, aerospace, defence and automotive.

Certification and marking

A component that cannot be specified is not a component. The following approvals are in force and the corresponding certificates and declarations are issued with a quotation or on request.

Manufacturing control

The two characteristics that make ISOKLAMP CFR work are the ramp lead angle and the ramp friction coefficient. Both are treated as critical-to-function and are controlled accordingly rather than inspected at the end of the line.

Traceability

Every article is laser-marked with a lot code. That code resolves to the melt certificate for the strip and ring stock, the heat-treatment record, the ramp and roughness inspection records, the assembly torque record and the revision of the qualification report in force at the time of manufacture. Records are retained for the service life of the product, so a joint installed today can still be traced back to its material and its test basis years later.

Non-conformance is handled to the same standard: containment, root cause, corrective action and effectiveness review, with the customer notified for any characteristic on the critical-to-function list.

Independence

Manufacturer-run testing on a manufacturer-built rig proves very little. Headline performance figures for ISOKLAMP CFR come from testing carried out or witnessed by independent, accredited third-party test houses, with competitor articles bought on the open market and named rather than anonymised. Raw time-series data is released with the report. If a result is unfavourable, it is published with the rest. Qualification and test evidence →

Questions

Is ISOKLAMP manufacture ISO 9001 certified?
Yes. ISOKLAMP Engineering, Inc. operates an ISO 9001:2015 certified quality management system covering design, manufacture, inspection and dispatch. Certification is maintained through annual surveillance audits by an accredited certification body, and the current certificate is issued with any quotation.
Is ISOKLAMP CFR CE and UKCA marked?
Yes. ISOKLAMP CFR carries CE and UKCA marking, supported by a Declaration of Performance and the technical file. Assessment against the European Technical Assessment route for structural fastening is maintained so the product can be specified in construction and industrial projects across Europe and the United Kingdom.
What documentation ships with an order?
Every consignment ships with an EN 10204 3.1 inspection certificate, the lot traceability record, the dimensional and ramp inspection report for the lot, and the applicable Declaration of Performance. The qualification report pack and the third-party witness statements are supplied on request.
Who audits the testing?
Performance testing is carried out or witnessed by independent accredited third-party test houses working to ISO/IEC 17025, so results are not self-certified. Witness statements are named and issued with the report rather than summarised.
Can I get a lot traced years after installation?
Yes. Each article is laser-marked with a lot code that resolves to the melt certificate, heat-treatment record, ramp inspection record and the qualification report revision in force at manufacture. Records are retained for the service life of the product.
