ISOKLAMP CFR is a two-part washer that occupies the position of a plain washer and recovers stack height as the joint relaxes, latching each gain so it cannot be given back. It arrests rotational loosening as well, because the ramp lead angle exceeds the thread lead angle — but the rotational lock is the part the market already had. How it works →

Who we are
ISOKLAMP Engineering is an engineering company based in Wisconsin. Our people have spent their careers in industrial and heavy machinery, on the side of the problem where bolted joints actually fail: production plant, drivetrains, material handling, hydraulic structures, and the maintenance schedules that get built around joints which will not hold clamp load. Between us that is decades of exposure to the same failure, in the same equipment, across the same industries.
That is where ISOKLAMP CFR came from. It is not an idea we had about a market. It is the answer to a specific mechanism we watched go unaddressed for years: every locking device on the market arrests rotational self-loosening, and none of them recovers the clamp force a joint loses when the nut never turns at all.

We are explicit about how every number on this site was produced. Performance figures are verified by physical test at independent ISO/IEC 17025 accredited laboratories and corroborated by closed-form bolted-joint mechanics to VDI 2230 Sheet 1 and finite-element analysis. Junker testing to DIN 65151 and DIN 25201-4 Annex B, impact vibration to NASM 1312-7, fatigue, relaxation, ASTM B117 salt spray and ISO 16047 torque-preload are all witnessed, with competitor articles bought on the open market and named rather than anonymised.
